Bangalore, the city that is aping to be at par with the likes of the real SIlicon Valley, and at times is often highlighted as IT hub of India, does not have many 24hr chemist. If you are stuck in the dead of the night, and in the dead of the night and in the look out for the nearest drug-store, then I suggest that you starting looking out right now. It will make your job lot easier. Find below a small list where you could get the medicines if you ever have to face such situation.
1) Most of Apollo Pharmacies are 24 hrs. There is one near Kormangala, Vivek Nagar, Bommanahalli. Wonder what other chemists are doing.
2) Pharmacy at St John's Hospital is open 24hrs, and same is the case with Manipal Hospital.
3) Cash Pharma on Residency Road is also expected to be open.
4) Drug store near Madiwala and Kormangala BMTC bus depot remain close these days.
Hope someone will find this info helpful one day.

The Audacious Fool
Last night, after the Argentine defeat at the feet of Germans, my friends and I decided to indulge in dinner at Kairali. On the way to Kamanahalli lies the dreadful Tannery Road, about which I have already written in a previous blog.
Anyways, this particular road is small and busy even at 930 in the night, and every time one treads this path, he needs to be careful not to hit humans or vehicles. I had to take a right at one particular T junction. Ahead I saw a bus coming towards me and I had to hurry up and hit the accelerator. I would say it was partially my luck that I did not get held up in the traffic, and partially the fool's effort(on the bike), who in the middle of the road stopped to light his cigarette and prevented the bus from moving an inch and let me pass by.
"Such arses need to be shot in the arse," commented my friend. I just grinned at the remark and moved on.
THe erratic ass
"I thought we were going to VivekNagar," she asked.
"Yes, that is the whole idea," he replied. It was Ejipura Junction at rush hour traffic on a weekday. "We need to take a right at the signal right," she went on. He frowned, as if annoyed at the banter, "Yes, we need to take a right at the signal. What do you want? Why ask such lame question? I know where we need to go and I will get us there."
"I was just wondering, the road is choc-o-bloc, we need to take a right at the signal, then what are we doing at the left most lane, that too with no indicator to the right? Anyways, you are the one driving, you are the one who will create a problem for all commuters, you are the one who will get shouted at, all that will be on your conscience. So I really do not care what you do as long as you get me to the destination."
She just won the battle.
This is only a depiction of what I believe would be happening inside each car when those jerks try and break the rule. I am sure it would have happened to each one of us, an arsehole taking a right at a signal even though he would be at the extreme left. This, inspite of travelling on the same road everyday and knowing that he needs to take a right.
Really people, pls follow traffic rules. It pisses me off when someone crosses my path without giving the necessary indication. Even I would have done that, but never intentionally. Forgive me if I ever caused any problem for other.

They should be more careful
I was going to Mysore last week when I clicked this.
I really hate this scene. If I had my way I would go forward and bang the bike, just so that the parents understand that it is dangerous to keep their small kids on the bike. I was always against triples on a bike, but I have done it in the past due to sheer peer pressure. But thinking back into those wild times I would never do something like that again.
Why cant grown ups be little more responsible in their action??
I feel that I bloody care more about their kids than them. I would never do something like in my life.
Who is to be blamed?
People like you and I.
The so called middle-class family who takes everything for granted.
The police for letting it happen.
The authorities who do not give a damn.
Negligence at the Blood Bank
This could be a little graphic, but am posting it anyways.
Blasphemy by BMTC
This picture should ideally speak for itself.
The self imposed ignorants!!!
This post is addressed to the so called middles class youths and men who according to me are the biggest arses. They belong to decent family and are well educated, read as a degree holders and they have a bike.
